Strawberries
While we all look forward to the first wonderful fruits and vegetables of the new year, Mother Nature requires planning and hard work.
Straw from past years is spread to protect young plants from morning frosts and irrigation is also used to protect the strawberry crop.
Each strawberry is picked by hand and the all ripen at different times over the season. After hand-picking they are brought in from the field for inspection and cleaning. Finally, beautiful and delicious fresh strawberries are ready for your enjoyment.
Remember, you can pick your own strawberries and enjoy a day in the field.
